The neon sign is a well-known icon of New York City. The sign itself is located on the roof of the historic Paramount Building on Broadway in Times Square. Originally the sign read "Paramount Theater" but in the 1950s, it was changed to "Paramount Building." This was done to differentiate the theater from the theater chain. It is estimated that the sign is visible from at least 25 miles away. This is a vintage New York City neon sign. The sign is not complete, as it is missing the bulb and tube. The frame is still in good condition and the neon tubing is still intact. The sign would be perfect for a vintage or retro themed home.
